Stunning Grammy Lighting for After Event

Universal Music Group’s annual post-Grammy event is always a stunner thanks to the vision of event designer Krislyn Komarov and producer Mary Hill of Krislyn Design & Production. For this year’s event held at Rolling Greens, they worked closely with Susan Mazo, UMG’s SVP of Global Communications, to create an environment in which guests were “wowed, comfortable and welcomed,” as Mazo said.

We have had the pleasure of working with Krislyn and her Grammy lighting for several consecutive years. This year was yet another wow and was covered by Elle Decor who came to the same conclusion as us!

We recommend you check out the entire article for all Krislyn’s design insights, however, we are partial to this one…

Lighting never fails to transform a room. This was evident throughout the space, especially in a portion of the bar area that was saturated in blue. Komarov worked with Lighting Director Ray Thompson to execute her vision. “We had a number of saturated elements in the design, which had to be painted with light in many layers to create the right mood while making it dimensional,” Komarov says. “In a big, open space, it is so important to create moods that are unique, but also connect throughout the space so that the overall feeling is not flat.”
